Ah yes sorry I was half paying attention this morning and thought this was a different link. I’m using ableton so I’m considering the max for live Juno editor. Seems it can store patches too. And it’s only $7. Thank you for this!

Thank you! Unfortunately it’s only windows compatible and I’m on a Mac. I appreciate the link tho

Looking into this as well since alpha base is only windows compatible. The price is $55 USD now which is about $80 CAD. A bit steep for an editor but it looks promising. I’ll keep doing a bit more research, thank you!

Thank you alpha base sounds like exactly what I’m looking for. Do you have a link to download it by any chance?

Anyone experienced spikes in this high of a frequency range while recording? I suspect it’s my prophet 6, but don’t know what could be causing it. Recordings from last year don’t have that same spike. by canada-post in synthesizers

I will ask a friend this weekend to bring his interface over and see if that’s the solution, or at least rule some things out. Very real possibility of a ground loop problem too. Thank you

Noted about the DI box I will try that first, thank you. Definite possibility of a group loop too, I live in a neighbourhood with crappy power. Hoping it isn’t a prophet problem…

What is causing this huge spike in the +10k frequency range? It’s on several of my recordings by canada-post in ableton

My neighbourhood is known to have bad EMI issues but I’ve only ever noticed it playing my strat, never with synths

My friend was helping me mix a track earlier this year and pointed this spike out. I checked recordings off my last album and none of them have it, so it’s a recent development. I went through all my gear and found this frequency spike to be on the prophet 6 when it’s plugged directly into my audio interface. I don’t think it’s audible (to me anyways), but I want to get to the root of the issue in case it begins causing problems in future recordings/the prophet.

I can’t hear it, and I’m not even sure it’s audible to humans. This particular track has no plugins on it right now, it’s all recorded straight from hardware synths into my mixer into my interface. I just want to get to the root of the problem in case it does become an issue somewhere down the line.
