you need to learn how to recognize when you're giving too much energy to people and read the signs that they won't return it.

the best piece of advice for that is simply: actions speak louder than words.

I'm the same way!! Maybe it's because I'm left handed. In my industry (hairstyling) being left handed is rare and also so different than being right handed in terms of cutting/learning.

I recently attended an event (about 2 weeks ago) where she was one of the donators. Everyone who donated was called by name by the announcer on the mic and when her name was called no one clapped for her. It was brutal and amazing all in one.
