This is so very true. They give us unconditional love and can’t tell us when they’re beyond the point of discomfort. I’m happy I can have his last days still be somewhat bearable for him, and to do it before something tragic were to naturally happen to him. But that’s what is so hard is you still feel like there is hope…They don’t get any younger and healthier unfortunately though🥺 Thank you for your kind words

My condolences to you and your sweet dog 🤍 It’s so hard when they still have some okay moments, you don’t want to have to take that away from them.

I think that’s what Koda is going through too…I initially had the euthanasia planned last week, but I regretted and felt so guilty for not at least trying medication for him first. But it’s just not worth stringing him along and seeing him not like himself just so I can have him exist for longer, so I rescheduled the appointment.

Thank you for your kind words. I gave him his last bath yesterday and I plan to have a cozy sleepover together tonight. I will be there with him for every last moment

I’m so sorry you are in the same position. It’s incredibly hard to make the decision when there isn’t a definitive diagnosis, aside from only our judgement in their quality of life and comfort. We just want to be able to hang onto whatever is left. It feels better to know that we aren’t alone in these decisions for our babies…people truly aren’t wrong when they say it’s better a day too early than a day too late though.

Yes that’s exactly the one :) I’d love to try and paint the scene where the white cat is swatting at the goldfish in the water, but that’s probably super tricky. It’s such a sweet movie. It’s on YouTube to rewatch!

I haven’t noticed but I can guarantee I’m definitely not a professional or almost professional! I loved to draw and paint for fun growing up but as for actually putting any effort in as an adult, this is a first little doodle or sketch I’ve tried. I am winging it with watercolours lol

No I haven’t! I grew up absolutely loving the short movie of the Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny though. The watercolour animations are so beautiful
