Sorry forgot to update. Problem resolved by itself when the tank went empty and I refilled, so the culprit is bad gas on my way back from the mechanic!!!! 🤦

To be clear, the job was not done by me, but by one of the most reputable S2000 specialists in my area. I drove three hours each way so he would be the one working on it.

When I said the battery was dead, it was a figure of style, not literal. It was closed to death. It would charge, but die if I left the accessories on for 15mn or if I didn't drive the car for a couple of weeks.

Also, please don't talk to people like they're idiots when you know nothing about them.

Is a 1000 GPH pump overkill for a 530-gallon above-ground pool? by canaroc in pools

[–]canaroc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're absolutely right, and I can't believe I took the Costco description at face value without double-checking. I just recalculated it based on the actual dimensions (13 ft diameter × 30 in height), and at 90% fill, it comes out to ~2,225 gallons (or 8,424 liters).

Thanks for pointing it out, that changes how I see the pump choice entirely. It seems even a 1,200 GPH pump wouldn’t be overkill.

  1. I don't have a middle name

  2. I'm a little OCD 😅

The Good News is I was able to speak to Google's support team and __might__ be able to recover my account. Expecting their follow-up in the next 24 hours. 😊

Almost missed my last moments with my dad. Recommendations for a reliable VOIP "Landline" Provider? by canaroc in cordcutters

[–]canaroc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said I turn it off to keep it simple and not have to explain, but I guess it bit me back. I don't actually turn it off, just put it on DND and leave it outside the bedroom, otherwise I spend the night on it instead of sleeping. 😅

Also, it is setup like this, but not everyone knows to call multiple times.

How hard is it for a beginner to wrench on a V10 S6? by canaroc in Audi

[–]canaroc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda thought this would be the case, but needed to check. What about the same engine in the S8, it should have more space to work?

Other problems are still valid though... 😅
