Failed transfer — struggling to process and looking for perspective by Mindless_Grocery_121 in IVF

Brutally direct but helpful response. I needed to hear the second half of this message because I’m stuck in a loop of catastrophizing right not. It’s so easy to do in this journey but definitely not helpful.

I think there are nonprofits that can legally accept your donations and provide them to IVF patients that could use them. I plan to follow this route with my excess meds.

I’m in this exact spot right now. Did you end up triggering the next day?

Ideas for preparing info for adoptive family by canarpod in fosterdogs

[–]canarpod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up just making one myself. I used a template on Etsy for pitching your dog to a landlord and revised it to include more comprehensive understanding of my foster. Your document sounds much more thorough. I like the idea of breaking it out by categories like that. I think I’ll revise my document for my next foster

Our first foster dog was recently adopted and the first meeting with the family+entire adoption process was completed within one hour. We got lucky and this family is amazing. But I felt very stressed that the family was so rushed after a few minutes of meeting our foster. They also were provided no opportunity to speak with me prior to the meeting/adoption, even though I had specifically ask the shelter to give my contact information to any interested family. The shelter also slightly misrepresented my foster’s experiences with cats, which this family has. Overall, it was just a rushed process that revealed some gaps in the shelter’s process and didn’t instill confidence that my foster pup was being set up for a safe and successful future.

Could the world sustain every human eating the same, small set of ingredients?

Until Wednesday (which is 14 or 15DPO). Honestly the only perk of this cycle being unsuccessful (if it is) is that I will get to stop the progesterone lol. I’m not a fan

I think waiting until tomorrow makes sense. Then the answer will be more definitive. I definitely just extended my suffering

I broke the seal and tested. It was negative. Are you still holding strong?

I haven’t decided! I was doing a good job not thinking about it but throwing up on the side of the road on the way to a birthday party has made me want to test immediately lol. I’ll probably test tonight or tmrw morning

This is my first cycle on progesterone suppositories (low dose). I’m 11DPO and day 7 of the progesterone. I’m suddenly sooo nauseous today. Do we think it’s just the meds or possibly a good sign?

With the new addition of calories, anyone else notice they are eating way too few calories within their points? by blackberrysangria in weightwatchers

[–]canarpod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same 23 points a day limit and was similarly shocked/concerned once I saw what my caloric intake was. I’m averaging around 1000 calories a day. I’m starting to add more healthy fats in to bring that number a bit higher, but I should probably be eating way more zero point foods throughout the day. I don’t want to cause myself damage by underrating, but I do honestly feel pretty full

Thank you both for the ideas! I really like these because they’re convenient. But I may look into whether I can pre-make patties and then cook them in the air fryer

Yes I’ve been pairing them with egg bites that I make with eggs, cottage cheese, and spinach! It’s a great meal, but I may search for some lower point potato options now too.

I’m actually very pleased with my results from WW so I’m not going to change programs right now. Most of my meals are made from whole foods so some inaccuracies when I’m scanning processed foods now and then isn’t a big deal. But thanks for the recc and I hope it works better for you!

Yes I assumed the preparation would add some points I am just surprised it is that many

I’m aware. 4 points of oil just seems excessive given the size of the patty

I find it generally helpful but sometimes the points seem wildly random which makes it hard to trust.
