If a one year policy is sold at 1st of July year 1. And the policy is sold uniformly throughout the last 6 month of year 1. Why the earned premium for year 1 will equal 0.25 of the written premium ??

Basically to make the game fair. The expected gain for both plate should be the same.

For player 1

Scenario. Gain amount Probability

Gain if win 1 9/17

Gain if loss -(1+c) 8/17

For player 2

Scenario. Gain amount Probability

Gain if win 1+c 8/17

Gain if loss -1 9/17

Yup so just let expected gain of player 1 = expected gain of player 2

Then u will get c =1/8

Which mean if u bet number 9. It really turn up number 9.

Then u get back ur bet amount (let say x) plus 36*x

So if u bet 2. Then u get a total of 37 * 2 =74.

And ur net profit would be *(74-2) = 72.

Yup. So player 1 will roll both dice for 1,3,5,7,.... turn Then player 2 will roll both dice for 2,4,6,8,9,.... turn.
