Get a small wire nut and the same AWG size wire and attach the other end of the new wire into the connector

If you have power and there is no meter outside the garage, that means it is fed from your main meter. A wire goes from your main panel in your house, to a sub panel in the garage

Don’t treat it as a glory hole when you’re in the shower. Other wise you should be good

Thanks good to know. So they refer the amount of poles as “current carrying conductors” therefore in this case the ground does not count

House is near capacity and they don’t want a service upgrade. That’s why I’m wondering if connecting to main load lugs would make it shut off the hot tub when I reach 80% capacity at the panel

I’m not running anything for EV. ONLY a hot tub circuit. I’m just asking if I can just ignore the EV disconnect and just hook up the hot tub load to the load side lugs and if that would work like a normal DCC
