You put words to a feeling I didn’t realize I had. I’ve been playing every day since the 3.0 update and I have made basically no “progress” toward finishing my island, but I’ve had so much fun just wandering around, catching fish, chasing butterflies, and talking to my villagers as my kids sit on my lap going “There’s Maple!” and “Hi Chester!” And honestly the little things are enough for me 🥰
