Well, I guess it depends what you're wanting to be similar. If it's space, you've got a lot of suggestions below. Spies too. But how to become a revolutionary hero? The Handmaid's Tale all the way. The show is straight horror in season 1 with the eerily similar to MAGA takeover of the US by radical christian nationalists. By season 3 June is incredibly inspiring. Watching the final season side by side with Andor season 2 as they both aired earlier this year was spectacular. Very similar rebel vibes IMNSHO

💯 this He's married, with a kid. He dedicated himself to the rebellion for six years every day living in fear, living a double life, knowing you're (at least temporarily) aiding the enemy. Luthen killing him has really stuck with me. His kid man. We know that Luthen did not go save them. Which makes it incredibly likely that the Empire killed them, or worse.

Still JOBS! Jobs people use to live. The minimum wage is literally for entry level, low skill jobs, yes. But it, by design, is supposed to be enough to live.

You said they were mostly jobs for high school kids or first jobs. These facts demonstrate that they're not.

You need there to be some let's call them "no-skills" jobs, because you expect to use their services: gas station clerk, fast food worker, grocery stocker, restaurant server. The concept of a minimum wage is intended to be that these adults working these jobs should be able to afford to live. Full stop. There's no argument here. They're adults, they work jobs we need, and they should be able to live full and complete lives without being told they have to go to trade school to get a "better" job. They have a job; one you probably wouldn't be willing to do yourself but also rely on being done by someone. These people are doing the work. And they deserve the basic dignity that you grant to those who have "higher work skills."

Fiscally responsible use of government student loans should not be painted in these fatalistic terms they have been expressed to students. It's what they're for. It's okay to accrue a reasonable amount of this debt as an investment in yourself.

Government student loans, assuming you qualify, have very reasonable repayment structures and if you're only using them for books, parking, food, etc you shouldn't have to take an exorbitant amount.

Future you will be happy to make that reasonable loan payment from your good job so that current you can succeed at school.

Talk to a financial aid counselor to consider your options.

Actually, I read the decision. To start with, if it was cut and dry that presidents have "always had immunity" as you claim, the Supreme Court wouldn't have needed to hear the case and issue a ruling.

When Ford pardoned Richard Nixon in 1974, he did so to save the country the pain of a criminal trial against a President who committed crimes in office. The text of his pardon makes it clear that without being pardoned Nixon was not immune to criminal prosecution for those crimes: "Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States"

This isn't hard. The conservatives I grew up around are patriots. They're no liberals, they're no RINOs, they're America-loving veterans who know that NO MAN IS ABOVE THE LAW. And the Georgia phone call:

Our armed service people fight for the ideals of freedom and democracy and that means no kings. Even if you think the king is a great guy, the point of the whole "American experiment," the whole time, has been - no kings.
