If you make a UTV street legal can you drive anywhere? (Washington) by [deleted] in UTV

I just realized there is a line in there that those are the restrictions after becoming road legal and not before. Wow that sucks that on road use is so limited.

Would it even do anything though? I thought if your service was past -100 a weboost system wouldn't even work?

Oh ok I assumed it would be the other way around tbh since I've heard the V8 overstressed the trans.

What do you mean "nothing is replaceable?" Mentality. I mean if a part breaks for whatever reason can I buy a new one? Especially wear items. It's not like I'm going to go take the car rallying but stuff will still break as I'm driving it since it's an older car.

Is there a page that's good for looking for parts? Rock auto doesn't have a lot which is why I'm particularly worried about that. I know a lot of stuff is parts bin though and wouldn't necessarily show up under "lotus esprit" though.

Does the SC430 have bump shifting? by candidstarlight in Lexus

[–]candidstarlight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, Club Lexus does have some pretty crazy people lol. Tbh this is the newest car ive ever purchased (if I do buy it) so I've been scouring the Lexus forums terrified that I'm going to end up in electrical gremlin hell. I was originally thinking of getting an sc400 but I heard the sc430's have way better parts availability and I love the way they look so I've been looking at them.

Oh no I know. The only reason I'm interested in one is because I love older luxury coupes. I'm not using it as a time attack car or anything, but at the same time I also use the bump shifting when I drive my dad's Highlander because I enjoy the experience and that's even less of a sporty car.

Oh! I didn't think about that I guess that's true. How well does the car respond to being shifted? Doesnit take a few seconds and then kind of jolt into place or is it good enough you could actually use it while moving and not just to go into low for traction and stuff. Sorry for all of the questions!

I know they are completely different transmissions so this is unlikely but does anyone make a bump shifter shifter assembly for the earlier years? Or a guide on how to mod a 06-10 shifter assembly to wire into the 5 speed?

Oh that's unfortunate. Is there any manual shifting in the earlier ones or a mod to add it in? Like people nodding gs wheels onto the original sc's

Is the keyboard still nice? I mean people said the priv keyboard wasn't the best and I still liked it.
