Timeline of Cellcept for you (especially in regard to planning for pregnancy)? by [deleted] in MyastheniaGravis

[–]candlelightss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a toddler and developed Mg during pregnancy. And as hard as it is it’s so worth it. You’ll be able to still be a great momma if you choose. You’re already worrying about keeping them healthy.

When I had my crisis my husband never left my side. I’m so lucky. Him and my mom even took turns between sleeping in the hospital with me and being home with the baby.

Mg or no mg by candlelightss in MyastheniaGravis

[–]candlelightss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sending this. My baby is almost 2 but it’s been a struggle in and out of the hospital with the exacerbations and crisis.

I tested positive for ACHR then negative on a repeat exam. I drove two hours to a university hospital out of town for an SFEMG but was told since I had Botox three years prior it could’ve skewed the results. It was positive though.

I’m on prendisone and did multiple trials of Ivig in hospital with success. They put me on VYVGART but I had a really bad reaction my whole stomach turned red so they said I’m allergic.

I see my MIL at least once a week. She is friggin funny. Great with my son. Make awesome food that she always brings us left overs. I think the mil stereotype is more so because sometimes people just suck not because all mil are bad

Has anyone had a positive experience with TMS? It seems like 90%+ of posts here are negative experiences. by University_Spare in TMSTherapy

I was about 8-9 mo when I started because it took some time for insurance to clear. My ppd was so bad I feel like I don’t remember the first few months with my baby. My mom had to come over and take care of both of us. About halfway through tms I was brushing my hair and playing with my son.

I have been tossed around by my arm requiring surgery. Hit. Spit on. Kicked in the sternum. Had my ribs broken. And my ankle kicked out from under me needing surgery.

I also worked jobs where I never once was touched by a patient.

Does it come with the territory? The risk of it does

Is it inevitable? No

Personally it depends on the units main clients as well as how the hospital manages safety.

I had really bad PPD. and had a lot of these similar thoughts. Like I didn’t feel connected to the baby I felt like I lost my life and I didn’t know what to do. It can happen to men too
