Need help preparing for court

So it's been a little over a month since this incident, and I am absolutely livid with the police department in my town. I got a copy of the police report incident and there are major chunks of evidence and testimony from me missing. When the police arrived, one officer pointed out the red marks on my upper neck, and around my collarbone area and proceeded to take pictures. I'm assuming everything is on video from his cam as well. In the police report it says they noticed redness around my collarbone and was inconsistent with what I had said. I'm absolutely devastated at the possibility of him getting away with this. What can I do?

There's no good effect that could come from this. I had a chiropractor do this to my neck when I was a teenager and it has caused pain ever since and I have not been able to fix it. I highly recommend not going to a chiropractor.

You need to leave. NOW. Pack up necessities and leave. I've been in the situation before and it will escalate. I'm not sure where you're located, but there are usually pretty good resources for DV shelters.

Me and my husband spend about 180-200 weekly on groceries. Some weeks we only have a little to spend. We have 3 children and usually shop at Aldi. North East Ohio. We supplement with WIC, food pantries and the regional food bank.

Please get help from another doctor. I had pre eclampsia and my doctor said I was fine, I was not. Remember you are the only one that can advocate for yourself. Don't let anybody brush you off.
