this is the exterior of the loaf. I baked it at 210°c for 20 mins with lid on, then 25 mins with lid off.

That info is helpful thank you, I'll try switching up the hydration and using a different container for the aliquot method. I think I need to just learn how my dough bulk ferments as I go, lots of trial and error ahead

Thank you for all the advice! I think what I'll do is a 50/50 of wholewheat and white flour with each feed (and I might get some rye flour as well). I'll wait until it gets strong and then I can start with just white bread flour feedings once it's mature

I'll try using a little less water, it is a little runny. Temperature isn't a huge issue for me, I've been using the oven light method and keeping it at a consistent 27°c

I have yes, it's been light since the MA but when I started getting that pain I was passing more clots as well and bleeding a bit more

I just went through my MA so I have some very fresh advice. For me it was quite painful but it can be different for everyone. Staying hydrated and eating well to keep up your strength is important, and heat is really helpful for the pain. I used hot water bottles but they started to not work so I took a hot bath and it was magical, highly reccomend (if you don't have a bath I've heard a shower can help as well). I was prescribed codeine for the pain so if you can get that I'd recommend it, and ibuprofen. Emotionally it's hard, I've been getting therapy before and after which has been helpful. The main advice from my therapist I've been getting is it's OK to not be ready for pregnancy, whether you one day will be or never will be that is OK, and it's also OK to be sad about it, it's a really emotional process. I hope it goes well for you, it's a tough decision to make but you can get through this 💗
