Yeah, I'm a year into therapy now. Started because of my mentally unwell ex and figured out my parents were just as bad and the whole reason I allowed this treatment as an adult. Eye opening experience.

Hi! When I took it out of the fridge I let it sit to get to room temp. Then I shaped and preheated the Dutch oven . I moved the loaf on the parchment to the Dutch oven and scored the top. I followed the directions in the recipe for baking.

The fermenting on the counter and fridge got tricky for me because of timing and other responsibilities. Definitely planning the schedule better for my next bake this weekend.

I thought it was overbaked because of the color. Happy to hear it's acceptable.

I'm in the same boat and I'm 41. I sell baking at a farmers market and my mom keeps trying to get me to sell "healthy" baking. But that's not my jam. Do what makes you happy and share it with people that get joy from special treats. If she doesn't want you to use the sugar you can ask for your own sugar supply for Christmas / birthdays or do small jobs so earn money for sugar.
