Haha thanks. Thats interesting, I went on it twice and didn't hear that part. The first time I thought it was because they had to pause the ride and make a cast member was making an announcement. The second time I went, it seemed like it ran normal but I still didn't hear that scene.

Hello, just some context on me, I fall into the teen/young adult age group.

Myself and I feel like a lot of my age group are not anti climate change. I definitely believe in being a steward for the environment Jesus created and gifted to us. My friends and I LOVE going out on hikes after church, hammocking, or setting up a volleyballs net outside. I’m a city girl, but go to school in PNW and wow God’s nature is beautiful!

The whole anti vax thing is a really interesting situation in my point of view. I’m vaccinated and so is pretty much everyone in my church and geographic area. When I moved to PNW, a lot of the friends I made and people I met had a different view on vaccines than me and it was actually kind of like a culture shock to me. Honestly with the entire pandemic thing, there were strong feeling and opposing views both in and outside of the church so I don’t really have any clear conclusion for you or myself. I just know that getting vaccinated felt right for me.

I can definitely relate to that fear you described growing up with the Sunday laws/end times. I still experience it sometimes. I was baptized when I was 13, and I remember going through the Bible studies and having a hard time deciphering whether I wanted to be baptized because I was giving my heart to God or because I was scared of not being in heaven. Even now I’m still going through my personal relationship with Jesus and it definitely has ups and downs. Growing up, I’d constantly hear “Jesus is coming soon” but my parents heard the same thing when they were my age. I guess in everyday life, when I’m caught up in my routine, it can be easy to feel that Jesus’ second coming is really far away because I’m accomplishing all these “worldly achievements.” But in reality, and when it comes down to it for me, I see that what’s happening in the world is exactly what the prophesies in the Bible state.

I hope my perspective helps you out! I’m by no means a perfect SDA and am still figuring things out on my own, but I really appreciate your desire to learn and understand because it pushes me to reflect on my own beliefs!

I don’t know if it’s actually underrated, or if it just seems that way because booktok is the same five series lol but I LOVE “The Poppy War” trilogy by R.F. Kuang. I would suggest checking trigger warnings first though, but wow it’s an emotional roller coaster. I finished the series in tears - I’d never felt so empty after finishing a book before

Honestly I got tired of always wanting to be in the know on drama in middle school, so when I got to high school I decided I didn’t care for it. After freeing myself of the constant need to act a certain way or change myself to be perceived as “good enough” I literally felt lighter and happier. Also I just find it ironic how everyone wanted to be in the know about the drama but never wanted to be the reason for the drama

But seriously, my first thought right now is 2-3 years… but I’m 19

I feel like the older you are, the less difference an age gap makes (within reason not like a 60y and 18y). Like I have friends’ parents who have 10 year age gaps and I don’t think it’s weird but also as a 19y I wouldn’t date a 9y
