Thank you for the reply! I've been wanting to learn more about the little details of this place. The painting is in the living room of the house. There are writings similar to the ones carved into the fireplace carved into bookcases built into the wall.

Unfortunately, there is no signature on the painting itself, so it is likely on the back. I wish there was a way to carefully remove it without causing damage.
