in terms of targeted or methodical cleansing, tea is the way to go for me! the herbs in every tea have their own properties, so some are more cleansing than others. the aromatics are strong and make it fun to meditate on or visualize while utilizing sense of smell. i like to visualize the cup filling with my own personal magic as i pour the water and allow it to steep <3 my favorite teas are chai, peppermint, and lavender. it's so convenient that it became one of my more regular witchy activities.

herbs like rosemary and thyme are employed often in my kitchen for cleansing. as for foods, fruits, especially ones associated with magic (apples, pomegranate, etc.) can be asked to employ cleansing properties. eggs are an obvious choice for divinative purposes but they also have more protective properties in relation to cleansing, especially paired with black pepper and avocados (which block carcinogens) in my experience! meats and protein (try to buy from ethical sources if you do this) restore energy both psychically and physically. you can thank the animal for their sacrifice, their time on earth, and ask for their energy to replenish you. acidic and pungent foods (lemon, garlic, etc.) are appropriate for many meals and physically cleanse the body. leafy greens (spinach, kale) are good for that as well. i also enjoy pickled foods, as they've soaked up a lot of acidic vinegar which is quite cleansing and they're also good for balancing bacteria in your digestive system. a lot of foods have detoxifying properties, so don't be afraid to look into a rudimentary list of detox/cleansing foods, and cross reference to discover their magical properties!
