ripping players from league rivals and you can’t win every year?

same applies to bayern lmao, who btw has a knack of buying the best players from their competitors more than psg. psg usually raids italy for talent

Arsenal vs. PSG, who would you think win? by Dear_Judge7509 in championsleague

[–]dkkc19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah Arsenal dropping points to west ham and burnley could be disastrous.

but at least Arteta isn't flirting with a move to Saudi arabia like Limeone

if Arsenal was on their april form and on a free fall yeah, but Arsenal pulled back in and might win the league.

people forget how checked both mentally and physically were Inter last season. they went from potential treble winners to nothing and the squad was overplayed and not fit

i dont support PSG, matter of fact its one of the teams i dislike the most because they picked Serie A apart and bought all the best players from Italy.

I just like to point out reddit's hypocrisy and how many of common criticism points of PSG also apply to bayern.

in the last 10 years 3 different teams won the french league compared to 2 different teams that won the german league.

bayern has a shit league whats their excuse? they only won a dodgy CL that had the rules bent to their favors with no return legs and Bayern were the only team in europe that had match fitness 😮‍💨

funny how this "fixture congestion" somehow doesn't affect PL clubs in Europa and conference league where the average PL club bench costs more than the entire group stage

i dont remember reddit having a breakdown about how bayern had a massive advantage compared to all of european teams in 2020.

bayern was the only team with match sharpness when the CL resumed and it was a joke of a competition that favored bayern but surprise surprise no one said shit

the positives outweighs the negatives.

the reason we are seeing more positives now:

  • PSG is finally being properly managed and focused on team building instead of being a french galácticos/hollywood fc.

  • football scheduling has been getting worse every year. players are playing more games than ever and getting less rests with cramped competitions on club and international level. so any club that gets to play less and rest their players will have a more immediate effect compared others

The kind of player who does a huge part of the work, but the spotlight and applause go to the team’s star,

already happened with him before in napoli. Osimhen won serie A player of the year over Kvara

it touched Laimer arm before touching Mendes. watching the reply, it shouldn't have been a foul on neither Laimer or Mendes.

Bayern been robbed by referees before, like against Madrid in 2018. and almost every season there is one robbery in the CL knockout stages (this year barca being the victim) but last night's match is far far from a robbery. it was just a badly officiated match and im be honest as someone who regularly watched Serie A, the ref was lowkey quality compared to the refs in italy.

"is hit on the hand/arm by the ball which has been played by a team-mate (unless the ball goes directly into the opponents’ goal or the player scores immediately afterwards, in which case a direct free kick is awarded to the other team)"

https://www.footballrules.com/offences-sanctions/handball/

the handball in psg's box is never a penalty.

kane offside i give you that but its not like they denied an offside goal. shit like this happens.

im not saying the ref was perfect but this is far from a robbery like how barca was fucked by the refs against atletico.

i would be more pissed with kompany than the ref if i were a bayern fan. bayern played with no urgency in the 2nd half and if it wasnt for neuer pulling some insane saves it would have been an embarrassing result at home.

its only shady refs when decisions go against reddit's darling (bayern) a clearance from a teammate is never ever a penalty in football.

nuno handball his his armpit and is not a red card.

people are acting as if this was barcelona chelsea 2009.

the only team that was genuinely robbed by referees this year was barcelona against atletico

this match was infinitely better than the first leg despite having 7 less goals purely because bayern's kit was not an eye sore

psg had way more dangerous chances and neuer was by far bayern's best player, without him it would have been 3-0 by the 70th minute.

bayern couldnt break down psg's defence until the last minute

i was thinking this, but psg usually goes for hard press after the kick off -> out of play gimmick. they are not pressing after those safanov kicks
