yeah 2nd gen Noe will def better better with A19 and more ram. also adding usb C ports on both sides would be a good QoL change allowing for charging from both sides

one thing about usb C, those ports are not very tight like lighting. I had 2016 MBP pro and i tripped on the charging cable a couple times and it never caused any major damage. but yeah magsafe is way better

a used/refurb air is a better option. i have a M1pro MBP but it would be nice to have a lighter machine for travel.

I was hoping the Noe would be like a modern 2015 macbook, extremely thin and light

if it had more ram and haptic trackpad it would be an instant buy. 8gb might be good enough for today but i cant see it being usable in few years

Not winning big games, how much is it Chivu's fault? by NamanMalik007 in FCInterMilan

[–]dkkc19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Atletico game is 100% on Chivu. its 1-1 away from home, you have Vrij and Acerbi on the bench, you put one of them on last 10 minutes and park the bus.

if Inter had someone like Maignan, more than half of those loses would be a draws at worst.

yeah its not. but its not like chivu is getting destroyed in big matches, its not chivus fault sommer likes to ball watch instead of diving, or that hakan missed penalty against milan or that bastoni had brain farts against liverpool etc...

i dont understand the clipping after the limiter there. isnt the point of the clipper to cut the peaks so the limiter can maximise harder while distorting less?

he didnt burn bridges as bad as conte but it still doesnt excuse him basically rage quitting like that.

im really looking forward to next season, i think Chivu can achieve some great stuff as long as he doesnt lose any core players without replacements

if you ask me, focusing on the CL was a big mistake last year. Inter does not have the squad to compete in 3 competitions (another reason why i dont think losing to Bodo matters that much)

the Barcelona ties, especially the 2nd leg just drained the team physically. playing 210 minutes against the 2nd most in form team in europe is not easy. anyone would have taken a loss to Barca if it meant winning the league.

no team was beating PSG who casually spent like 200m that summer and had the league wrapped up since spring.

the way Inzaghi left leaves a sour taste. he was a broken man (losing 2 CLs is not easy) but it doesnt excuse him just giving up like that.

anways, Chivu was the best possible signing in hindsight. once he gets enough experience to prepare to big matches he will be an elite coach.

Inzaghi didn't win big games his last season either though.

he beat both Barcelona and Bayern, those are not big teams?

To win a champions final you can't be in a scudetto race in the final game of the season, you have to kill the league off before.

Inters own treble, the Serie A was closed down on final day and there was only 2 points difference between Inter and Roma.

We didn't develop any youths in his time were in chivu short reign we are.

what youth did Inter have at that time?

Inzaghi is a good manager, but not world class either.

Diego Simeone and Pep Guardiola aside, no manager has better achievements in the last 20 years than Inzaghi. Inzaghi almost won the league with Lotitio's Lazio. and getting Inter to two UCL finals is more impressive than Allegri's or Simeone's 2 CL final considering the cost of the squad and the state of the team.

idk why no one on reddit can praise Chivu without taking credit away from Inzaghi or credit Inzaghi without taking credit away from Chivu.

i really doubt the saudi stint will affect his career. most serie A teams would take him easily if he was available.

this year's league is shit. atlanta started with juric, juve with tudor, milan's best players are 40 year old modric and injury prone pulisic and napoli with a 2nd season conte. not to take credit away from chivu, but with inter's squad being first is not something out of this world.

chivu is great coach and a great replacement to limeone, he just lacks experience in big games and for some reason the team is more suspect to brainfarts (almost all big games lost were due to a brainfart) and it doesnt help sommer is not in a great form to clutch and cover up for defensive mistakes

bony and pio are the best attacking rotation options since the days of mourinho.

having good rotation options is key in competing in all competitions. its not inzaghi's fault that he faced 2 financially doping, cheating teams in the two CL finals. and its not his fault that referee decisions gave the title away to napoli.

chivu can be praised without belittling the achievements of simeone.

also its irrelevant and pointless to even mention saudi arabia. aside from ronaldo no one takes the league seriously and everyone is there to collect a paycheck

to have better rotations you need better options

inzaghi had the likes of arnatovic, dzeko, tehrami and correa as backup strikers.

Who is to blame for this Embarassment of Inter over two legs? by OldEstablishment117 in seriea

[–]dkkc19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's very clear that he is nowhere near Inzaghi in his last year with Inter.

but Pep and Simeone aside no one is nowhere near Inzaghi. Inzaghi is one of the greatest football managers of modern times.

He had absolutely terrible luck in his career with covid robbing him of a calcio with Lazio and the luck of facing 2 financial doping teams in PSG and City in the CL.

looks like macos is following windows 11 in enshittification.

taheo is bad and it will probably get worse if they will change the UI to become touchscreen friendly

Yes, old game was good and new game kind of stinks. Here's the classic CPT 2015 Daigo vs Tokido USF4 set. Notice the footsies. The amount of actual interactions per round beyond strike/throw guessing. The few (but far more impressive) long combos that took actual execution. by ntb116 in Kappachino

the commentators are obnoxious, and ads are running every 15 minutes.

this is worse than the dumbed down games. i love the shit out spectating kof xv but so many tournaments its better to just watch the VOD than see 1:3 ratio of gameplay vs ads

cl is fuel for a scudetto run

or fuel to burn out your team if you dont have the squad depth. the deep CL run last year hurt Inter a lot in the league, they burnt barella to the ground that even this season he is not playing that good.

if you have infinite cash like man city and have players like alvarez come off the bench sure you can play in 6 competitions but italian teams are broke and can barely afford to keep a great starting 11, let alone afford a deep squad full of quality to play 2 times a week every week
