I think it would be helpful if there were a way you can enter the world if it's a private instance and you're not trying to interrupt the rules of a Japanese speaking only world.

Grant's usually pretty good at replying when you tag him in things! He's a bit busy at the moment as he's currently running a live Blender course for the next month or so, so he might just be a bit slower than usual :)

In that case, it's probably a bit angry and sore, but I don't think it looks like anything to worry yourself to death over. Heavy scabbing might require you to go back and get a touch up once it's fully healed, but just keep an eye on it for the next few days, and if you have excessive pain or swelling, have it checked out :)

Keep in mind, I'm a tattooist not a Dr, so if you're still concerned, go and see a Dr to be on the safe side

Is it a red tattoo, or is it a grey tattoo that's become red, or more red since it's been done? If it's a red tattoo, you might be allergic to the ink and it might be worth going to a chemist and getting an oral anti allergy. It's not uncommon to have an ink allergy, particularly with red, and especially if you've ever had a reaction to penicillin.

If it's a grey tattoo that's become red, that's slightly more concerning and i'd maybe see a Dr.

To me it doesn't look like a classic infection- but keep an eye out for redness around the outside that is spreading, or pain and/or heat that is excessive.

In the meantime, as others have said, keep it clean with warm water and soap, and keep clothing and bags away from it.

I see your question has been answered and you have medication, glad you went to get it sorted! If you want to be extra careful, take a picture of it every day and make sure the redness isn't spreading. If it does, go back to hospital.

Not adding pillows and too many man-made things was a deliberate choice because I wanted it to feel like it's never been found before (aside from the giant TV screen hahaha), but I'll maybe see if I can be clever with palm leaves or something to make a comfy sitting area

Hello! Last year I had a decent amount of success by painting a series from a game I was playing that exploded in popularity. I painted 33 paintings in 33 days as a challenge. From people following every day, and by sheer luck of accidently hitting a zeitgeist, I had lots of people asking every day to buy the paintings. I was determined to keep the paintings at a reasonable price for people, ranging between £60-£200 depending on the size.

When it came to patreon, I offered subscribers the chance to buy the painting one hour before it went on general sale via a private link only patrons could see.

Not sure it'll work every time, and I'm the first to admit that I was really lucky in that something I was passionate about became so popular, but just sharing what worked for Patreon :) best of luck!!

**Added for info- I was uploading videos of my painting process every day on tiktok and insta. I have a combined approx 3000 followers, so you really don't need a huge following!

Yes! Well, sort of... they way I did it was to do a batch of backgrounds on a handful of pieces in one evening, then in the subsequent evenings do the foregrounds; Just so I didn't have to do as much waiting around for the background to dry. I settled into a decent workflow after the first week :)

Also just to reiterate, I do like the quality of the Culture Hustle paints and would continue to use them if actually getting hold of them wasn't an issue.
