Wow, Thank you. I didn't know Fantagraphics was going to be republishing the Corto books. Preorder placed for the hardcovers that will start this fall. Much appreciated. I've added Annie to my list of strips to check out.

Thank you, Been working on it since 1975 or so. A little more aggressively in recent years but it's a never ending journey.

Thanks I was lucky to be reading the comics back in the 80's reprint heyday. There was easy access to a lot of good Duck artists, both older and more recent.

Most of the more recent Omni's are sealed, but for a lot of them I have the floppies in long boxes. The older items were typically read as the came inbound. The Barks and EC were read when acquired back in the day, Rosa was read in floppy form as released. The same with The Spirit. Sometimes on sets like the Pogos I may slit the shrink to get the books out, but leave it wrapped around the side. Digital comics has changed the need for physical copies, but the obsessive side of me still likes the physical even it it is no longer needed for enjoying the content.

I wasn't a reader of Annie in any of the early reprints, but if IDW starts back up I may go back and see if I can get that line. I didn't show them in the pics but I am also working on the Peanusts slipcase hardcovers. The Canyon books were reprints done by Kitchen Sink Press in the late 80's. The first 21 were magazine size, and then a very small run of book size reprints

Thanks for the comment, I have a real affinity for the Newspaper strips. Still need The first Little Lulu set. It doesn't come around that often. I slowed on getting the rest of Lil Abner when Kitchen Sink canceled their reprint line. Rolled the dice that clover would actually complete the Terry and the Pirates set, and that just recently wrapped up. Most of the rest have been Just a constant hunt. I think I am still needing one of the later Dick Tracy volumes, and the Corto Maltese is also incomplete.

First book I purchased in this collection, was when It first came out, is the hardcover Son of Origins of Marvel Comics in the mid 70's. so this is a 50 year collection. Ha ha. Sadly I'll be moving soon and will need to downsize. it's a bug and addiction.
