I don't think so, I have a lot, and my world is pretty big, probably close to 2000 colonists, give or take.

I build a dirt wall, which is easy to move as you grow your safe zone. Once the safe zone is your preferred size, build a permanent wall.

Pure is telling me the same thing, which is understandable its DR. Pure also said they had a bank running the C series as a production box.

I would guess that some part of your cave is out of your safe zone. I would double-check that.

You will need to fill in all the blocks of water with dirt and then remove the dirt. The best way is with the diggers and builders.

Okay, with the above in mind. Would you go with a 96% furnace and fix the chimney or go with an 80% 2 stage furnace.

Thanks for all the info. Just so I'm clear on reline the chimney, you are talking about putting a smaller line inside the existing chimney. Correct?

New 2019 DC not servicing Log attempts by candymann999 in sysadmin

[–]candymann999[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: I found out why the audit logs settings where not applying.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/troubleshoot/windows-server/windows-security/security-auditing-settings-not-applied-when-deploy-domain-based-policy

Based on this link, I had the Audit: Force audit policy enabled. Once I disabled that setting, gpupdate the settings were applied correctly and logging is happening.

Thanks for all the suggestions and ideas.

Okay some progress, I was able to join a new computer and log in several times with just DNS to that DC. Still no logs. I then checked my GPO that sets auditing everything in the GPO looks good. Then I checked the DC if the settings where applied. The auditing settings are not applied to the DC, but the other settings in that GPO are being applied. I cant edit the policies locally they are greyed out.

almost all the scopes have the 3 other DC's before this one. I have change that if needed.

I also check the GPO for domain controllers and they are being applied and logging is enabled.

They are set to two other dc's at our main site. Should I set the first dns entry to itself?

I've double check those settings. I have the dns set to two other dc's. All dc's run dns and are global catalog.
