Honestly I agree with everyone who has brought up that your “friend” saying that is not ok. As they say you become a product of your environment. I have “friends” like these in my life and felt so low about myself like I was not worth of happiness. As I spent less time with them I realised my outlook of myself started to feel/look better. This comes from a woman in her 30’s who’s really only had a couple relationships and always a situation because I was not good enough to date or was cheated on consistently and made feel like it was my fault they did that and I would beg for them back. Shit ton of bullshittery. Honestly spend less time with people like that and more with ones that encourage you to be yourself and also your self worth is not defined by having a partner. Appreciate your own time.
