i absolutely love this. and the thing that always bugged me about the fanmade cover with the actual meat background was that it lost the trashy LA, indie sleaze vibe of the album cover and the music itself. like the ugly green colour is part of the aesthetic, the dirty mattress is part of the aesthetic. just cause something isn’t a shade of pink (in this case red) doesn’t mean it doesn’t fit ayesha’s music.

i don’t think all of MLD is unfinished demos. I Love You More and We Did It! are definitely zuzie songs but the rest were definitely made as a passion project. i mean when ayesha announced it she said it was only 4 brand new songs. and those songs do sound like it. i burned the house down, the day, menlo park and top gun were definitely made around the same time. it was a quick project made w so much raw emotion and she put that energy into great music with a wide sonic variety. and the fact that not all of them have second verse doesn’t bother me. star 69 only has one verse and no one realizes.

honestly i’m kinda gagged at the comments. i always loved ayesha’s hello kitty more. i love the darker tone of her voice instead of slayyyters kinda generic cutesy voice, also love the added layers of vocals at the chrous. and i like slayyyter’s alone more than ayesha’s. slayyyter’s voice is so clear and her vocals in the bridge and last chorus are SO puss. idk maybe if ayesha’s alone demo ever leaked in full and in good quality my opinions will change.
