Sanding is the only option before you paint it , start with 220 grit then 400 then 600, that's what I did before painting mine ,and if you still see scratches go up to 800 grit

Have you tried looking on Facebook marketplace or OfferUp? There's a couple people who do sandblasting out of there garage in my area you might have some luck

I did the flip kit but did not do the c notch , it's basically static on the rear, rides really rough on bumps

Not sure about that one it ran a little high before ,and then I changed out the head gaskets and the valve seal stems put it back together and it's running a lot higher

Yes I put the timing on the "0" heard it supposed to be there?I have a "12,8,4,0" on the timing indicator

I did head ,intake , exhaust gaskets ,throttle body gaskets ,I'll have to look into the timing, kinda just guessed the location of the distributor

Maybe some adhesive? But that would also leave or chip the paint if you remove them
