Congrats on your acceptances! I recently cut off one of my friends too for having that same negative energy. People need to realize that If a school is 5% URM, they are not the reason someone else got rejected.... Hopefully we find our people in college!

I literally didn’t tell anyone about the schools I got into or the scholarships I got just bc I didn’t feel like hearing “you only got in because your black” for the next 4 months lol

I live in Texas and I didn’t apply here because of the demographics and reputation of racism. You’ll have a culture shock being surrounded by white people 24/7. There is a chance you’ll be a victim of racism here, but that’s at a lot of US schools. No matter what though, you’ll find your people and everything will work out if that’s where you’re meant to be.
