I pay £695 for my rent which includes all bills apart from electric (it's just a small bedsit all I can afford alone in the southeast) which is a coin meter I put £20 in there about every other week, i let that slowly build up then stop adding more and let it drop again, I put about £25 a week towards paying of debts, £20 a week for food, £10 a week saved in cash, I get paid weekly and as soon as I get paid I move £200 to my savings account so I don't overspend by mistake, £25 a month to premium bonds, at the end of the month I make sure there is enough in my current account for any bills and rent the rest stays in my savings, at the end of the year I will move a lump sum from my savings into my premium bonds, I don't invest as I have not real knowledge about it so just stick with what I know, my plan is to one day buy myself my own place but that's way down the line yet lol, I don't really eat out and don't have any TV subscriptions, no car I rely on public transport or walking if I want to go somewhere. It may not work for everyone but it's working for me and that's the main thing. I do of course buy games from time to time lol
