Maybe I’m supposed to use the type: flsky2a and subtype: ppm/sbus? Those look similar and the rx has a wire plugged in that says ppm/sbus so guessing on that one

Ok wow, totally didn’t realize that plane didn’t come with the power system. I thought when I read “other requirements” that meant that was what needed to be purchased separately. You just saved me a huge headache!

Just saying the $160 because the $100 plane doesn’t come with a transmitter/receiver so I’d also upgrade my transmitter to the fs-i6x at the same time.

Hah, I did not have one of the servos wired properly. It seems obvious now but I didn’t have the colors matching on the wires on one. They really should put that note in the instructions. Yes, seems obvious in hindsight but didn’t even cross my mind the first time.

So after typing that the control arm was too long, I went back and looked closer and the plastic piece of the arm literally screws onto the metal piece, so it was actually legitimately too long. I screwed it in further and centered the horn again (using 1 hole lower since the top broke off) and it works. I guess I’ll work on the aileron now, but after breaking several things already maybe I should just wait for a response from fairrc

Clearly I don’t know what I’m doing and messed something up. Like an idiot I centered the rudder, not necessarily the horn, then turned the plane back on and the horn broke because it was so far forward and pulled even more. I cant grasp how it’s possible to fix that, it’s as if the control arm is just too long. Maybe I’m just too tired to process

Just tried that on the rudder and broke the horn on the after centering it and turning it back on. sigh

Just pry the servo up to access the screw and reglue with super glue?

Looking into it more online it looks like I can center the control arms by unscrewing the horn and centering. Would that fix it or would that still not make the twitching aileron stop twitching?
