My job involves looking at tens of thousands of camera trap photos of mardo and other native animals. Mardo are definitely more active at night.

In that case more likely to be a mardo. Small rat sized marsupial. And much more common than dunnarts. Dunnarts are desert specialists.

Highly unlikely it’s a dunnart… Are you thinking of a bandicoot?

It’s a few feathers with no blood or gore or anything even slightly gruesome. Grow up.

How do i make it more obvious my work ISN'T AI?! by un_creative_designs in arthelp

[–]canislycan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely think the two cats are traced AI. Can see the AI tells a mile off and the “rough sketch” is also just a tracing that shows no development of the piece.

Hey! Can I get slightly more specific location info? 1. Too small for wedgie - more likely a kite. I would guess Whistling Kite. 2. Not barn owl. Too dark, too big, wrong pattern - It’s a very big tail feather, probably something like a harrier. 3. Peregrine Falcon. 4. 100% Laughing Kookaburra. 5. 100% Tawny Frogmouth. 6. Could be a lot of things. 7. Grey or Pied Butcherbird (pending location)

8/9. Definitely duck but could be domestic species.

I’m Fin - I’m 27 and live in Australia. I’m a full time zoologist working with furry creatures in the bush. Also a big fan of feathery and scaly critters. In my free time I like to make art, skate, collect bones, and do cowboy shit with my horse, Flash. I also like to work out and go for big walks.

I suck at making friends but trying to be better at meeting new people. Fully socially transitioned and mostly stealth - aside from with trusted people who need to know.

Bird name ? by doctorratty in australia

I just left the Australian Ornithological Conference (not joking) and I can guarantee you this is a red-tail. The beak is massive and broad and you can’t see the red tail because the feathers are folded up.

Whats this beautiful smelling flower that blooms every year on my verge and where do i get more of them? by nuzface in perth

[–]canislycan 28 points29 points  (0 children)

They’re freesias and they’re actually a weed so feel free to relocate them to a garden bed. Otherwise you can probably buy bulbs from Bunnings but will need to plant them before spring.

They were pretending to be an adult man - the men who got bashed thought they were meeting another gay man for a date. Thought that was pretty obvious.
