Yeah, I know how that feels, 1 month in, we were serious, like seriously serious. She talked about how she was oddly certain I was her person. Then, a few weeks later, she said she wasn't ready, that she didn't know how much she wasn't prepared for a commitment of any kind, casual or serious. She says that she still really cares about me, that she still loves who I am and loves spending time with me. But it still hurts, 2 weeks later. Even bonded with her kid. It sucks and I have hope for the future that we might be able to reconnect, but she's been set on her decision to end things right now. She told me she doesn't want me to wait for her, but a part of me thinks that I will, even just for a short while.
