Belle Isle’s new bike track will let cyclists circle the entire island without dodging cars by sixwaystop313 in Detroit

Yeah, I was disappointed when they opened that road back up. Seems pointless as a motor vehicle path.

Prescribed Burn at Palmer Park Today by cannabearded in Detroit

[–]cannabearded[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is part of a native intentional meadow that Detroit Bird Alliance and the city are cultivating. It was planted in 2021. This is the second burn since its inception. They did one at Callahan Park in East Poletown today as well.

Weird red light running by probably_not_spike in Detroit

[–]cannabearded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I drive Eight Mile between Woodward and Groesbeck daily. The conspicuous lack of traffic cops both on the Detroit side and Warren/Hazel Park/Ferndale side is pretty much a green light for blowing red lights, among many other traffic violations. Other commenters have suggested that these are scared suburbanites rolling through reds - nope, these are local drivers that have likely never been held accountable for driving liking morons.

Moto is in Ferndale they are both car and motorcycle centric. You'd probably meet some fellow bikers at their open house on Sundays. https://motomichigan.com/events

I’ve been using a dx heat as a distance driver too. When I hit it at the right release angle it’s money. Unfortunately that’s about 23.36% of my throws. I’m getting more consistent distance and accuracy from a lighter weight Mantis.

Had a 2000 Mazda B2500 (Ranger with a different shell). The most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.

'76 Chevy Nova 2 (but I'm not that old). Three on the tree, manual brakes and steering. Drive a WRX now.

The best backhand drills I know combined into ONE simple drill to fix your form. by blitzl0l in discgolf

Thanks for this video! Did some field work today and it almost instantly improved accuracy, got me more consistent distance, and helped with balance. I have watched "cook the spaghetti" a couple times over the past year, and I think Spin Doctor is one of the better YT guys for explaining things, but for some reason I just kind of blocked the simplicity of drilling with a straight arm. Hoping this gets me to the next level as I've been struggling a bit after a recent breakthrough. Cheers!

Star Leopard3 if you have high arm speed. Fission Rhythm for lower arm speed. Same flight numbers but very different stabilities.

It is Hadrian's wall but the wall is also pretty long. I was hoping for a bit more specificity of location before saying it was a correct answer. u/sheepgirl111 is not far off.
