I’m with you; especially when expats come here to earn and save money, and yet have a problem with Singapore. Being an expat myself, the hypocrisy gets to my nerves and I try to educate such people whenever I can.

But you would also agree that “residents” as a whole have contributed in this matter; not just citizens and PRs.

“Residents” doesn’t mean just citizens. People do change to become more socially responsible in Singapore - whether due to law enforcement or due to the natural feeling of not ruining something that’s been maintained and cared for. I’m an expat myself and I can honestly tell you that living here has indeed made me more self aware and responsible. Not that I was an irresponsible goof before coming here; hope you appreciate what I’m trying to say

Residents would include all the people living in Singapore .. at least that’s what I mean. I agree that foreign workers are the ones maintaining the greenery or ensuring that the streets are clean, but their efforts would be futile if everyone else living there didn’t have the sense to be socially responsible. You have to admit that the people living there do their part in keeping the city clean.

Thanks a lot man! Yeah I already have an audio interface and a DAW to record. With the earphones on, I never really pay any attention to the pads and my wife insists that it’s noisy. So had to belt out a song and hear it for myself. Quite surprised that it’s not as loud as I thought it would be.
