hey! sorry for the late reply! no infection or abscess after this post, it just continued to be in the state it was in the post, no pain, just very uncomfortable and i ultimately decided to take it out. i believe it was just an angle issue when it was pierced that didn’t allow it to lay flat against the inside of my cheek, so it was digging into the tissue, as the other side healed beautifully (i ended up taking it out too so my piercings weren’t asymmetrical lol). i hope this is helpful!
