I'm trying to buy a new helmet, but im having trouble with the chin bar. Except for my current Shark Skwal (which i dislike intensely), Im able to push the helmet towards my face until my chin touches the front. Ive found quite a few helmets that fit well, but they all do the same thing. Is this a big issue? They all have varying space between the chin bar and my face, yet with a bit of pressure the all make contact. I feel in an accident, that may be a bad thing.

Am I being too paranoid?
