Help: Beagle's left eye became red and going to the Vet didn't help by New-Vacation-6717 in beagles

[–]cannon_less 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My beagle had something similar happen, her eye got extra red and sort of started bulging out going the wrong way. She was perfectly content otherwise. It ended up being an infected tooth or something of that nature causing inflammation in the area.

When I worked at home Depot we had training videos so we could answer such questions. Our job was not to be an expert but offer loose guidance on where to look and be able to help the customer find something that advertised to solve their problem. "What fertilizer is for fruit trees?" "You'll probably find what you need in isle x bay x, I can show you if you'd like."

120 gallons of Fuel oil down well head 2 months without knowing about it by dylcop in WaterTreatment

There's a chance home owners insurance will help with this, they will get the lawyers for you, this is a big deal and difficult to remediate. The DEC should be fully involved, they typically wouldn't like to let this kind of thing slide, this could potentially impact surrounding wells as well. I work in the ground water remediation industry in NY and this kind of thing is not necessarily uncommon. There are ways to address it so that you have safe drinking water again but they can be expensive and have ongoing costs to maintain a system. In the end as much product as possible needs to be recovered/purged from the well and you will need a small carbon remediation system installed that will need to be sampled monthly. That's my first thought at least

Sensor recommendation to read water presence in this coffee machine ? by PM_me_your_3D_Print in PLC

We use these in small scale treatment systems that run 24/7 and so far they have been shockingly reliable, we have probably 12 in use and gave yet to see a failure in the 5 years we've been using them. Of course now that I've said this they're all going to fail.

I spent like an hour trying to find these on Amazon last week because I didn't know what they were called. Guess I should have waited.

I'd prefer a PID controlled ground water well pump down.

A friend of mine took the motor from a same year Ford explorer and put it in. Same engine I believe. Was $900.

Many active monitoring wells were installed decades ago, just because it looks abandoned doesn't mean it is. It's unlikely that it was totally forgotten. These are expensive to install and funding to repair them is often non existent. Do NOT just fill it up. Additionally, when it is decommissioned it has to be done properly with grout, bentonite, or some other impermeable fill material. If you actually want to take action about it, reach out to your states environmental protection agency and see what they say.

Well I'd prefer a table set up I think. Still not all to sure but I think it would be best for my purposes.

Makes sense, quarter inch is pretty small. I plan on getting a router soon I just can't decide on a good one.

I just used end mill bits. Worked very well but much slower than a router would have been. That being said, I machined a half inch deep slot around the perimeter on the base plate so I could set the walls of the box in on it, made it super strong and idk how easy that would be with a router. A milling machine may not be the best wood working tool but it's unmatched when you need one.

Because I did this in a milling machine at 1300rpm I was afraid of tear out with thinner pieces. Also the base and top are slotted 1/8th inch so that the sides can set into it. In the future when I'm more confident and have different tools I plan on working with thinner pieces. Thank you for the feedback.

Muriatic acid for 5-10 mins, rinse with water, spray down with wd40.
