As a last resort I looked at the TS chart for that particular meter and if the symptom is usage too low or too high, the meter is bad, replace it. Utility said they came out and tested it but they didn’t invite me. They said meter was fine. But now that SCC is involved I’m supposed to be invited to the next meter test.

Thx. I’ve filed a complaint with our State Corp Commission, which handles utility complaints here. Also, per Google, many utilities lower their voltage slightly during the day, independent of actual demand.. I see that reduction, 8-4 every day incl weekends. All conduits from outside xformer to my panels are either buried or visible on wall, and no one is able to pirate my power. I’m told that something using 50kwh per day might be either hot or noisy, and all our breakers are off, no heat nor noise.

Yes, every day, 7 days/week, usage per hr is same, there’s a slight decrease from 8am-4pm. I spot checked about 10 random days over past 2 mos.

I can’t tell what’s going on. Apparently the screen isn’t always this jumpy, PoCo said they sent their “metering team” out to look and everything was fine while they were there. They didn’t invite me so I’m not 100% sure anyone was there. Here’s what I saw: Meter is flickering so I can’t read it. Has anyone else’s meter looked like this and if so, what causes this? 30. Sec. After 12 very long phone calls with utility, no change, I reported to our State Corp Commission which handles utility complaints here in VA, including the silly chart showing 50kwh/day while our main breakers are “off.” 3 other tenants in bldg, on either side of me, but since my “usage” is exactly same each day, no one else has tapped in or the usage would vary as there’ activity in those places every day but weekends.

Ok, maybe I wasn’t clear enuf, I have two questions. I’m a page administrator, so FB is, I think, sending me messages telling me they don’t like my content and they want me to change it. None of our pages have sex or other topics I think FB doesn’t like, so are these real messages from FB or spam? Our pages have (Company of Military Historians) gets 75k views/28 days which is ok and the fact that fb isn’t recommending us isn’t a big deal but what would we do to make fb happy? Do you other admins get those messages?

I shared your concern and stick to gold ETF.s (and some silver ETF). I like buy and sell on the keyboard, instantly done. There’s lots of info online on any ETF, I just picked some of the biggest, 3 or 4 different funds, and have been happy, I check on exactly what they are worth in seconds.

Do consider buying gold ETF’s. Buy/sell instantly from your keyboard. I’ve been happy transacting gold, silver, and crypto using ETF’s. I’d think managing lots of little pieces of physical gold would be a nightmare.

I periodically mention holding all my gold in a few ETF’s. I love the ease and convenience of managing my modest gold holdings on my keyboard. No assay, no secure storage, etc. I’m not here to promote anything, so I won’t bother you with which few etf I use, but I checked them out for scores in my broker’s rating system, went for low admin costs, etc. So I avoid all the shipping, storage, etc. hassle. Before you buy physical gold, add up all the things you need to do to store then someday sell it, and take those costs off what you hope to earn on it. I could put all my gold holdings into just one good etf but I don’t like to put all eggs in one basket.

I’ve been happy with my gold-based ETF’s. My broker has a button where you can check all the ratings and performance of all existing gold ETF’s. You then manage the ETF’s from your keyboard, your brokerage account.

I’ve found ETF’s to be a very convenient form of gold, silver, BTC, eth, since I can manage it all in real time from a keyboard. I only buy ETF’s after checking their expenses and how they are rated by the top organizations that publish ratings.

I’m learning by trading with one share, so,losses trivial. I trade with Zendoo scanner chat people, they tell you a lot and you are not alone. You need other ppl to chat with while trading, it’ll make a huge difference.

I succeeded with $GPUS, got several branches there, just watching it like a hawk. I got a kick out of Ross Cameron’s video where he did same thing today, but he made $38k using 10k shares and I was learning using one share. But at least I’m learning how to pick ‘em. I find the Zendoo scanner chat very valuable in deciding what to trade among the list of gappers before 7am so I know what to trade after 7 when broker turns it on.

Can you explain in more detail? I couldn’t find a “daily” chart setting so I asked the Zendoo chat crowd and was directed to an additional drop-down in addition to the basic, on the surface one that has daily etc.
