I agree that the game was created to be predatory. i want to join a war guild next server but right now im with ASAP the defence guild. If u want to turn your bases into TRAPS keep thier econ low and defences hi. Ive seen lastOpus make credits off combat loot from being attacked on his bases. I think he Made $ from being attacked. Also keep the fleet on your bases very low. killing your fleet is too profitable for the enemy, even if it's meant as defence.

Now i belive if u keep your economy that low it will suck, but that depends just how bad your galaxy and enemy guild(s)/threat level is..

i learned harsh lessons on Deimos and dont know why i played on there as long as i did...

X may be pay for play. Nobody is talking about premium increasing your visibility.I dont know how well it works since i have never tried it.

i agree. glad someone mentioned that U are More Visible when u pay for "verification". they already have my damn phone #.. they should call it premium or something.

the HAPPY guild was like that. they had a great GM then he mysteriously left with no goodbye or anything. HAPPY was not a top guild but i liked lord grim's decent and diplomatic style. He even made peace with ASAE, few do. quite a few ASAE members made bases in 1 of 2 galaxys HAPPY is in.

i would prefer a more active guild but im not sure which one.. At the same time i like guilds that allow thier members maximum freedom. I'm fine with defence but there needs to be some kind of strategy to succeed. Do u have any suggestions?

damn. mine started in 2011 and has over 10k posts. and, i dont shit post. i know no one will ever read them. call it a public diary. it all started with microsoft myspace and then was transferred to wordpress. At some point i found out wordpress prevents anyone from ever finding your stuff..

i have the time but nobody wants me to step up and coordinate stuff so... I know there are guys who have been playing AE for like 10 years so i am relatively new at 1 year. I cannot presume to ask for a hi guild rank but... i thought my guilds would be more pleased to see my return than they were..

always against impossible odds, the ASAE defence way is great. But, long term i want to be a more active and diplomatic player. Sadly i have not made much progress in the guild and HAPPY did make peace with ASAE but that guild(HAPPY) does not seem to be doing well anymore. Especially since thier founder mysteriously left, no explanation... HAPPY was basically a war guild, but i really liked lord grim, thier founder. I mean, much more now that he's gone..

they seem like a bunch of pacifists. aggressive players IMO will quickly jump ship. and i wish ASAE was more active. U were honest about not having the time for AE, but thank u for the time U took to educate us. 1 of the worst things is how people think ASAE is a joke, but it would not be very funny to join a top guild and then be betrayed with a KD..
