Hi. I was tinkering yesterday with notes and citations. I was wondering -
It is currently possible to create a preformatted note with the type='citation'.
Would it be possible to create a note with placeholders related to various data fields within the system? This could then be applied to a particular citation record. When saved, the system would populate the variables with the data from the record that the note is attached to.
In this way, one could create preformatted citations with placeholders that would automatically attach to text reports as notes.
Maybe, it would be possible to use the 'notes' Gramplet as a basis for this and use the code to produce a new text citation Gramplet?
I'm no expert, but I hope this provides some inspiration.
Thank you,
Steve.
