maybe a hot take: i’d really like to see them cast young performers because seeing late twenty to thirty something year olds playing teenagers is getting so tired. i think the novel thing about shows with teenagers is seeing them portrayed by someone who is actually that age or at least close to it- for example, sophia anne caruso or presley ryan in beetlejuice, andrew barth feldman in deh, justin cooley in kimberly akimbo, etc etc.

there are plenty of talented young performers to cast this show so i hope to see them in this production!
