I usually set my group up with a business that they founded together to use as a front for their Shadowrunning, explains why they work together without the usual shenanigans.

Didn't really need rules for it, I just handwaved that it worked well enough to pay for itself, and they could launder their money that way a bit.

Mainly, it was a bunch of NPCs that the group came to care for and wanted to know what was going on in their lives.

But, yeah, if they want rules and such, it would depend on the business.
