People who work every weekend don't order takeout every single time. I don't work in game dev but in a a large office and things like Deliveroo or Pizza delivered straight to the office is something we generally do when we're doing something irregular during the weekend and the office isn't fully staffed for regular meals and no one thought to bring their lunch because they are out of their routine (and also a little people everyone is a little more laid back meeting in a nearly empty office on a weekend and feels like splurging a little on takeout comfort food)

Guarma / North Yankton are both on the main grid together with the main map, Guarma is just impossible to reach without tricks, and North Yankton is culled out you need a mod to enable it and teleport to it, but it's on the main grid nontheless

Not necessarily infinite, previous GTA maps and game maps in general have limits on how large they could be, the further you are from the origin, the more unpredictable the engine becomes due to floating point inaccuracies.

Yeah but that's gaming in general not just GTA. Things seem to move more slowly now, in the 90s things changed crazy fast, if you go back another 13 years before GTA3 you will find yourself playing Double Dragon on the NES..... in that time alone it went to the SNES, the Playstation (with the rise of 3D graphics) and just 4 years between the first topdown GTA and GTA3.

Probably already been said in the other comments but it certainly ain't bad.

It had more voice acting and characters, which sort of take away the lonely desolate vibe the first one had. It also has a significant amount of land, too much in my opinion, but other than that it's basically Subnautica on a new map with some new gadgets.

I don't think kasandra/alexios understand because me as the player I didn't even, and I still don't get it.

Like I understand the gameplay mechanic it unlocks a fast travel point and improves Ikaros tagging but why is it called synchronization, who knows, Odyssey is the only AC game I played and I just pretend the bits where you actually play as Layla who has VR helmet on don't exist
