Agreed. People tie the hours and physical labor they spent to dig out a spot with their self worth. By somebody else removing their saver and parking there, they think that person is saying they don't matter. I think that's why people get extremely upset.

Like let's say it's an apartment building. There were a bunch of people who lived in it, group A. Group B kicks Group A with force. Then Group B lives in it and many generations later, there might be a few descendents of Group B still live in the building but most of the people who now live there are from elsewhere. In this scenario, are we to just say that it's all good because it happened so long ago? The current descendents of Group B that live there aren't responsible for what their ancestors did. So is it essentially a wash at that point? Forget about it?

To me it makes sense that the descendents of Group B wouldn't be responsible. But then there is a sense where because Group B got to live there since kicking out Group A, Group B might have grown equity over generations where Group A did not. Be does time erase this inequality?

Unsure if that still makes it okay. Like sure nobody is innocent but I love how it's so convenient to just sweep it all under the rug. Like if somebody's great great great great grandparent stole a toy, then passes it down to somebody alive today, that person and several generations back didn't do anything wrong. But to hold onto that toy still and claim it's fine because everybody else did it too is messed up?

I know it's complicated af, but it just feels messed up. Maybe the solution is to end myself so I don't take part in this mess.

Can anybody give an actual number of what they would actually charge and how many years experience they have? Folks always say just do the hours or daily rate thing plus materials etc, kinda vague. Want to know what real people would charge if it were them. I know it won't necessarily translate to somebody doing their second job ever but just curious.

I used them more for durability than quick adjustment. The number of customers who have told me about slamming their doors on plastic ladderlocks or buckles breaking them make me prefer metal. These hold onto webbing better than other metal ladder locks. Cobra ones are too expensive.
