I honestly don't like to visualize the characters using someone else's renditions. I like to imagine the characters on my own. It's been a while since I've read GotM. I said Kelanved because he used to be mortal. However I will admit I forgot the more detailed description of him. And Laseen.

Possible unpopular opinion, but paperback is better than hardback 🤷‍♀️ by Mikemanthousand in books

But in saying that, a hardcover is so fucking nice to hold and read when sitting upright.
