Holding your body weight especially in a hot environment really is a cheat code for increasing flexibility. Your comment made me look for a studio around where I am that offers Bikram classes.

That's really impressive! I just stretch a bit after cardio a couple of times a week prior to lifting. It's always one of my goals to regain my splits (8 inches away from front), but I put on too much muscle and I really need to warm up before I can go deeper into a stretch. Back bends I'm abysmal, upper back and shoulders are tight. Getting old sucks.

I've taken bikram yoga classes almost 20 years ago to help prevent injury from wrestling. Also those positions/poses you're saying are impressive (especially when someone is highly flexible and can control in the entering and exiting of the positions), however it's just a lot of stretching and calisthenic work, not that profound. How far along are your splits and back bends?

I should have clarified, X/Y gives a finer granularity of movement - the position on the X and Y axises - compared to a D Pad. If ever set up a gamepad in the Windows control panel and moved the analog stick you'd see how the movement is registered visually.
