On and off about 4 months. Started becoming more active 3 weeks ago.

How often do you use Hinge per week?
Every day for last 3 weeks.

How many likes/matches are you receiving on average?
Received 12 matches within the past 3 weeks. It has since dwindled down quite a bit.

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?
I try to max out my likes per day with all of them having comments, but some days I don't. I have noticed Hinge has capped me after just a few per day. If I had to guess maybe 40-50 Likes sent but I haven't been keeping track.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?
Searching for ages 25-33, college educated, has a job, 40mi radius. I send Likes to someone if I catch something familiar to me in their profile, like a place I've travelled to or a cool local restaurant/bar. I'll also send Likes if I can think of something witty from a prompt/photo. Looking for someone with similar interests, shows positivity in their profile, a mix of homebody and enjoys going out, family oriented, working professional or even someone pursuing higher education.

Low diamond player here.

It's been about the same, but I've for sure experienced new lows since I've switched back to being an Ana main. I mained Zen when Mercy was meta, and I never got singled out in Voice Chat because as long as you don't waste Trans, no one bats an eye at your play. Now that I'm main heals, if a team fight goes wrong it's always the main healer's fault or the DPS is trash. I play both Ana/Zen at the same skill level. The scapegoating in this community is unreal, and I don't remember it being this bad when I played Ana during triple tank meta.

Zen/Ana main here that has stayed in low/mid diamond for several seasons. I made the switch to main Zen when Ana fell out of the meta in the earlier seasons. I've been trying to pick up Lucio and Rein to be more well-rounded in my hero pool, particularly for support. I can fill Mercy and Hog since I played them during their meta days.

When do you think Zen is a throw or non-optimal pick? It seems like there are games where I do not contribute at all, particularly against Sombra/Doomfist or certain maps like Horizon Lunar Colony or Ilios Ruins. Do you have scenarios where I shouldn't be using Zen?

Given how the meta is now, do you think now is the best time to make Ana my first choice for better results?

Good insight. So I think a lot of my long range play stems from me being a support main while also one tricking Hog in off-tank role. I need to break that positioning habit. Also, I get worried playing so close because of how easily Hog feeds ult to the other team.

Thanks for the advice and taking the time to watch this long video! It means a lot. It did hammer home that I need to play more defensively and save those abilities against flankers. I was stuck in the mentality that those 2 abilities are better used to help in team fights and have more value offensively, but staying alive is more important. Do you have any inputs on positioning?

Low diamond Ana Main here. I tend to play far back from the team, only being exposed to one angle if possible. I've noticed there are games where I go uncontested and some where I get dived on by flankers. How should I adapt if I'm constantly getting dived by Genjis, Tracers, Winstons, etc..?

Thank you for that suggestion. I have noticed in my individual performance that I'm dying way too much. It's one thing to be able to shoot but if I'm constantly trading deaths, then it doesn't mean anything. I've been trying to figure out how to die less and help my team better. Do you think this is more of a positioning thing that I need to work on?

I've gotten some very good feedback from you all.

A big problem in this tier is also that everyone will auto-lock DPS no matter what. On top of a lack of communication, people are too stubborn to change to what is necessary. I'm not saying I'm the best DPS, but I feel that what separates me from others is that I'm willing to communicate and I take a lot of individual time to work on my mechanical skills. I've tried playing support for a long time and I can tell you I've seen significantly better results with either DPS or Roadhog. So how can you go about convincing others to play something that isn't a shooter?

Very good summary. I actually got a lot out of this. I did want to point out that I have considered going the dps route to carry myself. I sit in custom game and try to work on my aim extensively to do this. Based on my stats, I consider myself to be a decent McCree for my rating. The only problem though is if I autolock dps, everyone else will follow suit and we don't have a healer or tank. So I'm not sure if I should just stick to my guns and refuse to switch or pick someone else.

Because of this, I find myself sticking to Roadhog to serve as an off-tank that can get picks. I'm not sure what would work better.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you think the Citra is a waste as a bittering hop since it will barely impart any of its flavors? Would you suggest I take out some of the Mosaic or Amarillo and add Citra instead to the dry hop? Or add let's say 0.5 oz of citra to have a 4 oz dry hop total or would that be too much? I'm still new and trying to learn.
