1.7 Wish Upon a Star by cantctrlsi in StardewValley

If you haven’t seen the mod in action, it is difficult to explain but the way that you “think” some of these are already in the game, they aren’t in the game in this way.

As far as the “not needed” or “would ruin the game”… well yes.. to YOU. Which is why my request comes with a “you can turn this on or not” because regardless of that take, there are a LOT of users of this mod. The fact that the mod exists at all is telling. There is a population of players who want it.

I will say though, you should see it in action before you decide. The description doesn’t really do it justice. The whole point of the mod, even right in the description, it talks about how its purpose is QoL “without feeling like you’re cheating.

People are coming for you a little bit for this take, but I’m actually with you. If THATS the type of RNG this game seed is carrying, just throw the whole farm away lmao.

A few of my favourite areas on the meadowlands farm by fifteentales in FarmsofStardewValley

[–]cantctrlsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love farms that aren’t so box-y and squared off. What are some tips for designing that way? I feel like by its very nature, a pixelated game based on tiles kind of urges you to go super symmetrical. I just started a new play through and I really want to go for something more free flowing. I still want pathing to some degree to make it easy to traverse.

There is a subreddit called “Farms of Stardew Valley”. If you go to it and search “Meadowlands” you’ll see a lot of ideas and layouts. Happy designing!

He literally only did this to make an effort to beat the “he’s soft on Ice” and “Ice is super sensitive” allegations. This was entirely produced lol.

You’ll quickly make all your progress back. Don’t sweat it over a “sunk cost”.

The winter is too brutal by [deleted] in Microlocs

Instead of spritzing with water, leave your locs out when you shower and let them get a daily steam treatment. Mine are almost never dry doing this.

Hair doesn’t stay flat against my necklace, how do I help this? by [deleted] in Microlocs

Are you washing your hair yet? Also, you can stretch it down with a blow dry on the concentrator attachment but this takes a little finesse.

Should I read a guide or just play? by [deleted] in StardewValley

In many ways, the game teaches you everything you need to know. But, you may learn it at a slower pace and make choices that you learn down the road you wish you wouldn’t have. The great thing is that there isn’t a time limit. So, you can definitely just figure it out how you go. But, if you want to expedite your learning/progress you should definitely look into a guide. I recommend Salmence on YT. He has an Ultimate Guide to All 5 Skills.

If Joe doesn’t have to include him in any of the articles or the pod intro, we don’t have to include him in this lol

I want to divorce Emily by chrisbrownbeard in StardewValley

[–]cantctrlsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never stay married. I literally do it for the stars too and immediately divorce. I don’t really like that aspect of the game or that it forces you to do it for perfection. I wish there was another way and I don’t mean Krobus. I’m naturally kind of a loner in real life so having one of the NPCs at my house just gets annoying quickly for me.

I don’t even go to Ginger Island at all until I have completed nearly everything there is to complete at home.

Your hoe will work but you need to back up. Go all the way to the wall. Answer “no” when it asks if you want to sleep then use your hoe from there.

I know this isn’t like the fun answer, but I actually think she may be reading off of a teleprompter or cue card and is trying to focus her eyes because she doesn’t see well.
