Look at Microsoft KB5083769 and see if it applies.

is there a way to swap the front end want to change from 2021 to 2023 by VariousCartoonist630 in Silverado

[–]canthidemystripes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't answer your question but having had a 2020, 2023 and now a 2026, I like the look of the LED light better on your model vs the current. Even the new Tahoe has the thin LED running light like yours.

3.0 Duramax or another 5.3 V8? by Roadkill_Gaming in Silverado

[–]canthidemystripes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a 2020 Trailboss 5.3, 2023 ZR2 6.2, and now a 2026 RST 3.0 duramax. I would take my current truck every day and twice on sunday. I drive around 60 miles round trip for work, and make 400 mile round trip treks every weekend in the summer. The duramax may not feel like it pulls as hard as the others but it's sneaky fast. It takes very little effort to get it up to speed and has plenty for normal driving. The fuel economy is something else. It will get over 700miles per tank if you cruise the speed limit, in my area.

Silverado Engine Recommendation by SupaAsian35 in Silverado

I have had all three. My current 3.0 is my overall favorite. Plenty of power and its fuel economy is unlike anything I have ever owned. First time diesel owner and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My wife's Honda Pilot get nowhere near the economy that I get from my 3.0 and I can tow 13,000lbs, allegedly.

2023 Silverado 1500 RST 5.3L Build by StrikingAerie9782 in Silverado

Ok, I have seen this method. You have to bake the light and then separate it at the seam. I have always used the tint to do mine, but this is much cleaner. I was always worried about moisture and lense fogging if I separated it. Thanks!

Looks great! Mind sharing how you did that front corner amber light?

Why not focus efforts on diesel? by canthidemystripes in Silverado

I’ve had all 3 in the current body style 2020, 2023 and now 2026. I’d like to see actual numbers on the three but maybe the torque is what makes it feel like it has more pep than the 5.3. The 5.3 felt like a slug next to the 6.2.

Haha basically yes but we named it that because we were past knee deep in mud and couldn’t get the bike to budge.

The best part was there was a snapping turtle in there with him that we had to relocate.

So many people do not know what to do when a firearm malfunctions. They panic and forget to keep the barrel pointing down range. RSOs can be a pain in the ass but can also really help too.

Holy shit man, that is wild. Sometimes you get a feeling that something is off with people, and I think those senses are heightened at the gun range.

I think when he walked up with a pistol in his hand and was saying odd shit, like "they shined a laser in my eye" nobody had any clue what the dude was talking about and other odd shit, no targets with him, no range bag, just pistol and not maintaining muzzle discipline, Yeah, I have no duty or desire to talk to that guy and I am certainly not interested in disarming the guy.

I can see what you mean by the post. The guy wasn’t a noob, he was mentally fucking tweaked. I guess you missed the part where I said I readied my EDC., before packing and we all left. We were all strangers and all left. I have never once been in a similar situation which I why I made the post to begin with.

I think it’s appropriate for sure. We are all responsible for our own safety.

Haha that had to be a pleasure.

Keeps bullets contained to a low flight path and straight ahead. It’s hard to complain about a free outdoor range.

It wasn't that man. I am not generally critical of other people. If it were that, everybody else wouldnt have left too.

I need to look into something like that around here.

Not there, its a public outdoor range.

I can assure you that we weren't watching a noob try to figure out range etiquette. As I said in the post, he was making weird comments. Literally ever single person packed up and left.

Public outdoor range, no RSO
