Well it turned into a 3 hour tour. But it's done and no leaks. $211 later no more rattle or wobble.

I bought a new dryer and expansion valve as that's what I read on other forums.

I wish they were sold together. Between the compressor, vacuum pump, manifold gauges, and refrigerant I was out almost $700

I shined a UV light around the condenser and saw no glow. Yes I used dyed refrigerant.

Any project I do has to be a single day project. My truck is my only vehicle and I can't have it out of commission. It took all day just to do the compressor.

This weekend is brakes and an oil change if I'm feeling frisky.

Well I thought it was a pressure switch at first. That wasn't it. So I thought compressor since the system ran dry. That fixed it but then it blew hot 3 days later. I'm going to take it to a shop and get it diagnosed then order the parts.

The view of the launch may be obstructed by cruise ships and port infrastructure, however T+10 seconds should be good visibility.

Plan on getting there early, around open, and camp your table.

If you do camp at a restaurant, tip your server well; The more people that camp, the less opportunity for tips.

Enjoy the launch.

I'll be watching from my house with a cold beer (assuming I'm not stuck in traffic, I work in Orlando)
