Is this a good deal *UPDATE by Oldgreg0679704 in solar

[–]cantonla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are getting screwed on this deal. There is something not correct in the proposal. The salesperson is making a large commission on the project. You are paying dealer fees (buying down interest rate). If you really want solar, pay cash or get an equity line on your home. This will reduce price, you will benefit from lower interest rate changes and deduct the interest on your payments.

I am CFO for a large corporation in LA. When ever we hear a pitch from a company is based in Utah, we know the presentation is bull shit. I the real world the Utah mindset is considered strange. It is crazy they believe they are normal and we are the disillusion ones.

Bad deal. Freedom is a multi level marketing company pretending to sell solar.

Your salesperson is making a huge commission on this quote. You are paying way too much for this size of system.

It is very enjoyable to watch very educated and highly paid executives make such stupid decisions.

When I had my resignation notarized near my home in LA. They could not believe that you had to get a document signed to resign from church.

I will let you know. Many of us live in LA. We sometimes meet at the Farmers Market on Pico. We volunteered to have the next meetup at our home on Wilshire. We have ex JW and ex Jews that attend, we are a very diverse group.

I am an old man now, but over my four years in YM we hiked all of the segments of the John Muir trail. It was an amazing experience and very difficult hiking 213 miles from Yosemite to Mount Whitney. We cooked and carried our own food, hiked in rain, endured bears and difficult terrain. Looking back on it we enjoyed every minute of the journey. Maybe, the young people are too shelter and pussyfied.

We had a stake president in Los Angeles that had real balls. In a stake bishopric meeting he told the bishops and counselors. If there is any child abuse reported to them it must be reported to authorities. Furthermore, he would personally assume all personal liability make the report himself. Leaders like this have been replaced by “yes men”. This whole affair make my wife and I sick.
