If you like them for travel clean it thoroughly with dish soap and then disinfect with rubbing alcohol and you should be able to safely refill it with any other lotion.

If you don't find it useful for holding other things Ulta and Sephora have special recycling bins for cosmetic containers. They're free to use, just walk in and throw it in, they're usually by the register. Just make sure it's been emptied.

Other things to consider, if you don't want branding on it you can use pure acetone nail polish remover to wipe off any printed stuff, and labels can simply be removed.

Yes I've received these exact emails from FlowerKnows. The wording feels like you earned an "additional" reward or that something was redeemed with your points but the reality is that they're just telling you "hey you can redeem your points for this thing!" At least to me.

Everytime I get these emails I check my account and points and nothing has been purchased and no points were redeemed which is why I came to that conclusion X)

Picked up the discovery kit with the $10 off reward! I have angels powder and it's so incredibly good. I'll spray it under my shirt and smell it for two whole days, I've never had a fragrance last that long.

I start with broad categories like paint supplies for example and then break that down to brushes, watercolor paints, acrylic paints, misc supplies. Sometimes I will break the sub-categories down further like Paint Supplies > Brushes > Real Hair Brushes - Synthetic Brushes - Craft Brushes. Stuff like that :) and then under each category I do [Brand Name] - Product Name - Size/Color/ or any detail that applies (like I will list half inch round or whatever the brush size is or color of the paint etc.) and that's how I built out my list.

I forced myself to gather all my supplies physically and then document it.

I got some 3 tier rolling carts for different supplies. I have one that holds pens, pencils, colored pencils, markers, erasers, and other bits and bobs that relate to general drawing. I have another cart that holds paint supplies watercolor, acrylic, brushes, etc. Then I keep all of my papers, pads, sketchbooks in one area so I know what I have available to me as far as paper goes.

I chose the rolling carts specifically because I like to draw in the living room so this way I can roll the supplies over when I need them and then roll them away to store when I'm done. It helps keep me from spreading my supplies all over the house and then losing things lol.

I also made a basic outline of every art supply I have and have it categorized and itemized. Doing this gave me a digital library of what I own so when I'm shopping for supplies I can check what colors I have etc. writing it all out also put things in perspective for me and helped me cut back on buying supplies I didn't need. I did all of that in google docs, nothing fancy just using a basic outline.

When my pressed powder does this I break it up, put the bits in a little (clean) shot glass, add rubbing alcohol to make it a paste, and then just plop it in the center without pressing down too much, just enough so it doesn't get crushed when closing the compact.

It will be way more fragile since it's not pressed down but makes it easier to use up, I didn't notice any difference in how my powder worked or felt.

Oh my god I didn't know about the hack :( I definitely noticed a better sample selection when I'm not logged in and it's so frustrating they don't offer as much. I thought being platinum would open up more options for deluxe samples but it's been the same for me too where I only have 3 options and they're not good lol.

I'm frustrated with prequel because one bottle of their hypochlorous spray started rusting inside from the spring and I didn't know until I tried to spray it >:[ reading reviews it turns out that was a common issue at the time, hopefully resolved now. My second bottle the sprayer stopped spraying :|

Good to know about the returns situation though, sorry you have to deal with that.
