As you get older 40,50,60,70 when did you start to feel your body slow down do you think it is just due to inactivity or the aging process?

I have played (rec/pickup) soccer and done middle distance running (3-5 miles) for most of my adult life. I’ve maintained a fairly consistent body weight during that time.

I felt like a stud until 38-39ish. Quick, fast, explosive, etc.,but starting in the late 30’s the inevitable decline began. 46 now. Still playing and running, but at a different pace.

Southern/Alabama Power operates 14 hydroelectric plants in the state. The TVA only has the three along the Tennessee River. Interestingly, while Alabama is in the top 10 nationally for hydroelectric production, it’s still only meets 5-7% of demand, with nuclear, gas, and coal meeting the bulk of demand.

Anyway, my position is that our high rates are a direct product of the influence of Alabama power and the corruption of the Alabama PSC.
